The VLT floor
The Summerside gaming floor offers VLTs only. A VLT, or video lottery terminal, is a screen game run for the lottery. Red Shores does not publish how many terminals there are. No slots, table games or poker are published for Summerside. The floor opens Sunday to Thursday from 11 am to 11 pm, and Friday and Saturday from 11 am to 1 am.
If you prefer cards, the Table Games room in Charlottetown is the place to look. Blackjack, Ultimate Texas Hold'em and baccarat start at noon on Sunday, Friday and Saturday, and at 4 pm Monday to Thursday. Poker starts at 6 pm on Thursday and Friday and at 4 pm on Saturday. All tables run until close, and no clock time is published for that close.

Summerside Raceway
Summerside Raceway was established in 1886 and is believed to be Canada's oldest continuously raced horse track. It runs live harness racing. On race days the Race Office opens 2 hours before post time, and the race-day phone is extension 4118 at 902-888-5666.
Should you arrive on a day without live racing, simulcast betting remains on offer. Wagers on races shown from other tracks follow the gaming floor hours. That means 11 am to 11 pm Sunday to Thursday, and 11 am to 1 am on Friday and Saturday.
The West End Bar & Grill
West End Bar & Grill is the full-service casual bar and restaurant at Red Shores Summerside. It is open every day from 11 am to 8 pm. Please note that the kitchen closes well before the gaming floor, which runs to 11 pm Sunday to Thursday and to 1 am on Friday and Saturday.
